Adventurous Grindelwald Part 2

Have you ever, I mean ever, reached the top of a mountain by train? Or have you ever, I mean ever, had to speed up your ski or snowboard run down as fast as you could to catch a train?

Well, this was pretty new to us as well. And we have to say we love it! It feels so different compared to all our snowy adventures so far. This definitely tops them all!

Our hotel Belvedere Grindelwald is just a short walk from the train station that is the gateway to all the peaks you long for. Before you hop on this crazy AMAZING beautiful adventureous and 100 year old trail, Buri Sport makes logistics even more easy by being your ski & snowboard gear provider right across the station. The only thing that doesn’t help is that these staff members are too nice, friendly and lovely so we always have a hard time leaving the shop… (LOL)

We LOVE Kim!

Hi Jared!

On Tuesday we went all the way up to the Scheidegg and on Wednesday we left the train in Grund to take the gondola up to Männlichen. At both places there was a great restaurant that we could use as a home base for the kids and all (read: ALLLLLL) our stuff. Männlichen was even more perfect since Grindelwald Ski School is located here so Jools was able to ski her first pizza slice. Thanks so much for all your help and care, Hans!

And…. The great thing about 3 adults and 2 kids is that this offers possibilities for some mama-me-time! I totally rocked that Jungfrauhjoch Mountain like a… Well like I used to do. But then with even more joy and passion.

That’s all for today… Will make it up with you soon. Promised. For now it’s:

Peace out y’all!

(Sorry for the language , but I just feel so cool and young right now. Being a board babe all over again. This me-time does weird things with a mommy. Don’t stop me please.)

Fun Run with Robin!

The view from the gondola…. Incredible!

Pippa is very much into après-ski music

Group Hug!

Kids fast asleep + Baby monitor at reception = Snowy Jacuzzi Time!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

    1. Hi Gerda! Sorry!!!
